Jag Boilers will be serving up a fire crawfish boil at their 2nd annual Crawfish Boil. The event will be happening at James Weldon Johnson Park. Curated by the Symphony’s Principal Tubist James Jenkins, this program spotlights hits from the biggest big bands to iconic composers like Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Thad Jones, and Woody Herman. With Latin jazz flavors, intimate group performances, and even references to classical pieces like Herman’s take on Aaron Copland’s Fanfare for the Common Man, this concert features very limited, general admission seating.
