It is time to start planning your weekend! Good news, there are plenty of events to pick from. The Markets at Town Center is starting their Spring Concert Series on Thursday. Root Realty is hosting the 3rd Annual Run Home 5K and Kids Fun Run Sprint through Riverside. Vintage Market Days happening all weekend and you can find some unique finds. Daily's Place, Vystar Arena, and the St. Augustine Ampitheatre are all hosting concerts, so go find one you want to see! The Sharks, Shrimp, and UNF Baseball & Softball are home in DUUVALLL. The Yards is also hosting a Caddyshack Party. Check out events for this week, next week, and beyond!

The Chelsey Michelle Band brings an eclectic mix of tunes and styles to meet all genres. With backgrounds in R&B, Soul, Funk, Hip Hop, Rock and Fusion, this group of highly accomplished musicians invites you to catch this Thursday show and see what all the hype is about!

The Run Home 2022

Where: 2574 Herschel Street

What: Root Realty is proud to be hosting the 3rd Annual Run Home 5K and Kids Fun Run Sprint through Riverside!

Who: All proceeds benefit Sulzbacher + Rethreaded who actively help the homeless community and survivors of human trafficking get back on their feet through housing, employment, + more!

Where: The race will begin at 8:30am. The post race party, immediately after the race, to be hosted at Root Realty’s office. Party will include music, a food truck + festivities for the whole family!

Where: Clay County Fairgrounds

Vintage Market Days Jacksonville is a vintage-inspired open air market with art, antiques, clothing, jewelry, home décor, yummies, live music and more. Kids 12 and under are free. Parking is free.

Yacht Rock Revue

Where: St. Augustine Amphitheatre

When: 5/14 8PM

What is left for Yacht Rock Revue to prove? This top-notch group of musicians has already rocked onstage with John Oates, Eddie Money (RIP), and both versions of the band Player. They’ve trademarked the term “yacht rock,” both metaphorically and literally (U.S. Registration Number 3834195). From humble beginnings in a basement, touring in partnership with Live Nation and Sirius XM, they now headline sold-out shows across the country, from Webster Hall in New York to the Wiltern in L.A. While rising from bars to amphitheaters, they’ve ticked every box on the Rock Star Accomplishments bingo card. Except for one: Writing and singing their own songs.

The 43rd Annual Historic Springfield Tour of Homes & Gardens

When: 5/14-15 12-5PM

Six properties will be available to tour with five interior spaces decorated with a mix of modern and vintage styling and two beautiful gardens. A guided bicycle tour is also available! 

The event benefits Springfield Preservation and Revitalization (SPAR) and their dedication to preserving the historic character, facilitating investment, and building community in the Springfield Historic District.

 Leon Bridges "The Boundless Tour” 

When: 5/19

Where: St. Augustine Amphitheatre

Grammy Award-winning R&B recording artist and songwriter Leon Bridges will release his third studio album Gold-Diggers Sound on July 23rd. Gold-Diggers Sound, which Leon spent over two years conceptualizing, writing and recording, features Robert Glasper, Terrace Martin and Ink. The album has all new tracks, as well as “Sweeter,” which Leon released last year after the murder of George Floyd and ultimately performed at the Democratic National Convention. Leon launched Gold-Diggers Sound with his track “Motorbike” and its corresponding music video directed by Anderson Paak
