Fall is in full swing and that means there are plenty of activities for everyone. Check out concerts, 5Ks, sports, and Halloween celebrations for all spooky levels! 10/14-16: Rhythm & Ribs Festival

The 26h Annual Rhythm & Ribs Festival is happening this weekend October 14th-16th in St. Augustine! At the festival you can expect award-winning regional and national BBQ champions, live music, vendors, children's games, rides, fun foods, and more! Rhythm & Ribs is being held at the Francis Field behind the Visitors Information Center and parking garage, on West Castillo Drive, right in the heart of historic Downtown St. Augustine.

10/15: Sunshine Spirits Festival

Join Sunshine Spirits as they celebrate spirits from all around the Sunshine State! Here's your chance to enjoy spirits from the Panhandle all the way down to South Florida. You can also expect music, local food trucks, and more.

10/14: Scotty McCreery at Florida Theatre 

American country music star and former American Idol contestant, Scotty McCreery will be performing live at the Florida Theatre this Friday! The show starts at 8PM and you can still get tickets!

10/14-15: Cirque de la Symphonie: Spooktacular! 

Watch aerialists and acrobats defy gravity at Cirque de la Symphonie, happening in Jacoby Symphony Hall this Friday and Saturday, October 14th and 15th! You can expect to see rope aerialists, acrobats, and jugglers transform into goblins swinging on blood-red ropes, witches soaring through the air, and skeletons performing death-defying acts. Make sure to dress up in your favorite costume for this festive night of musical excitement and daring acrobatics!

10/15: Viva La Fiesta

Come celebrate this weekend at Viva La Fiesta! Enjoy the only Hispanic festival in the city and get some good eats, music, and fun!

10/15: Hops, Hounds, & Halloween 5K at Kanine Social

You can still register for the 5k race this Saturday October 15th supporting the Jacksonville Humane Society. The race is dog friendly, so you can run/walk with your dog or have your dog hangout at Kanine Social's private dog park with a friend while you race! Don't forget to dress up your dog in their Halloween costume, costume judging will happen at 8:00am and the race will start directly after. There will also be an after party featuring an awards ceremony, live music, local vendors, and food trucks!

10/15: Hocus Pocus Movie Night with Root Realty 

Join us this Saturday, October 15th for the first feature of the 2022 Festive Family Films in Memorial Park, presented by Root Realty! The featured movie, Hocus Pocus, starts at 8pm and you can expect FREE popcorn & food trucks! Bring your own favorite blankets, lawn chairs, and the whole family to kickstart 2022 spooky season. A special thanks to Root Realty for helping organize this family friendly, free event!

10/15-16: Northeast Florida Fall Boat Show

Calling all boaters! The Northeast Florida Fall Boat Show is happening this weekend, October 15th and 16th at the J-Tech Institute campus on Jacksonville’s Southside. The boat show will offer two days of water-related fun, family-friendly activities, and educational seminars—as well as amazing deals on hundreds of boats and thousands of accessories!

10/15: Beers & Brats 5K

Enjoy an Oktoberfest evening in San Marco Square for a festive 5K and one mile run/walk though scenic San Marco followed by free beer, brats and bubbles. All entrants will receive a race shirt and an official custom designed beer mug, plus two free beers and a brat. Tepeyolot Cerveceria brewery will be brewing a special beer just for this event and the beer will be served (first two beers free to participants) at different locations in the Square. Oom-Pah-pah music will be featured.

Tuesday, 10/18: FSCJ Killer Queen

This coming Tuesday, don't miss this tribute to Queen presented by FSCJ Artist Series. Killer Queen dresses the part as they go through the different eras of late vocalist Freddie Mercury. Led by charismatic Freddie Mercury-look-and-soundalike Patrick Meyers, what started as a one-night thing has now spanned over 25 years and been welcomed by the world due to the attention to detail, energetic performances, and the brilliant back catalog to draw upon.
