FAMILY-FRIENDLY ‘JAZZ ON THE RIVER’ WILL BE HELD AT RIVERFRONT PARK, PALATKA

This free fall event will be held on the last Sunday of the month in October + November

ST. AUGUSTINE, Florida (October 10, 2022) – A brand new fall event will take place on the last Sunday of the month in October and November at Riverfront Park, 100 Memorial Pkwy, Palatka, Florida. Jazz on the River, sponsored by Ancient City Entertainment, Visit Palatka, Beck Automotive Group, and Putnam County Tourist Development Council, will welcome Let’s Ride Brass Band on Sunday, October 30 and Ulysses Owens Jr. and Friends on Sunday, November 27. Each event is family-friendly, free, and runs from 4:30pm to 8pm.

“The weather will be getting cooler and there’s nothing better than enjoying live music along the St. Johns River,” explained Jeanetta Cebollero, co-owner of Ancient City Entertainment. “These free, all ages events will also feature food trucks, vendors, and a VIP wine tasting experience. Bring your chairs and blankets because last Sundays in fall means the river is the place to be!”

“We’re super excited to welcome some of the area’s most talented jazz musicians as well as our Series Finale headliner, Ulysses Owens Jr., a Jacksonville-native who now hails from New York,” said Cebollero. “He’s a drummer and percussionist who has performed on Grammy-winning albums and is regularly recognized as a powerhouse of a showman. It’s a great line-up and we’re excited to put on this event series for years to come.” 

ABOUT JAZZ ON THE RIVER

Events run 4:30pm to 8pm and are open to all ages. Admission is free and a VIP wine tasting experience is optional for $10 in advance per event or $15 day-of. Tickets can be purchased here. All shows are held at Riverfront Park, 100 Memorial Pkwy, Palatka, Florida.
