Live Music at The Markets at Town Center is Back on Thursdays

Live Music at the Markets of the Town Center is back on Thursdays starting October 14 – November 4. There will be food tents including Prati Italia, beverage stations, seating, and more! Admission is free and the event is family friendly! Live music runs from 6:30 – 9:30 pm and activities will be located adjacent to Palmetto Moon & Kirkland’s

Celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month
Mandalla is a four-piece group bringing the perfect balance of modern Latin and American music to the stage.  The band performs a variety of musical styles from Latin Music (Salsa, Merengue, Pop, Reggaeton, etc) with a touch of English songs including Top 40 Pop hits.  Join in the special dance performances of Flamenco, Belly Dance and Samba

 Wine, Women & Chocolate Happy Hour

Save the date for @PeterbrookeChocolatier’s Wine, Women & Chocolate Happy Hour happening Friday, October 15th from 4-7PM in downtown Jacksonville! The special event will take place at Peterbrooke Chocolatier’s newest, remodeled chocolate shop located at the base of the new Vystar building.


The event will feature complimentary wine tastings, chocolate sampling, a meet and greet with reknown author Joni Roberts PLUS the first 500 guests will receive a complimentary chocolate popcorn to take home!

Cracker Day Celebration

Where: St. Johns County Fairgrounds

When: October 16 8AM-6PM

Cracker Day showcases and honors cracker horses, which were brought to the Americas by the Spanish. "Cracker" also refers to a cowboy who uses a whip to round up cattle, which makes a cracking sound. This family-friendly event includes horse and cattle games, such as the popular barrel roll. There will also be a whip-cracking contest and games for children. Food and drinks will be available for purchase, including barbecue. Each year, the St. Johns County Cattleman's Association names a special honoree, which is announced at the celebration. Tickets are $5 and cash only!

Modest Mouse at the St. Augustine Ampitheatre

When: 10/17 7PM

Modest Mouse announced their return earlier this month and today they’ve not only shared a new single off their forthcoming album, they’ve also plotted out an extensive US tour. Modest Mouse is known as one of the most consistent live bands around, and today they’ve announced a US tour that kicks off at the end of July and will include festival stops at Lollapalooza in Chicago, Life is Beautiful in Las Vegas and Austin City Limits in Austin.

 Earth, Wind & Fire are a musical institution. 2020 marked a year-long celebration of their 50th anniversary in entertainment – one that has taken them all around the globe playing sold out concerts. In 2019, their contributions to arts and culture were acknowledged in Washington DC with the prestigious Kennedy Center Honors. The Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery also awarded Earth, Wind & Fire with its Portrait of a Nation Prize.

THE MONKEES: FAREWELL TOUR WITH MICHAEL NESMITH & MICKY DOLENZ

When: October 16 7PM

Where: Florida Theatre

Michael Nesmith and Micky Dolenz of the Monkees are launching a tour that will feature songs that span the band’s entire 50+ year career. This is the last chapter in Monkee-Mania, a saga that began in 1965 when four young men were cast in a television show about a struggling rock band that was inspired by the Beatles’ A Hard Day’s Night. They’ll play the hits that made The Monkees one of the most popular bands of the 1960s including: “Daydream Believer,” “Last Train to Clarksville,” “I’m a Believer,” “Pleasant Valley Sunday,” and more!

Social Grounds Coffee

This weeks featured coffee shop is Social Grounds Coffee. They’re located in the heart of Springfield (one of JAX’s oldest neighborhoods) at 1712 N Main Street. This veteran owned and operated coffee shop is more than an adorable spot to grab a cup of specialty roasted coffee - it’s a movement to employ and empower homeless veterans and help the less fortunate. A percentage of each purchase is donated to local nonprofits such as Cup of Love, Rethreaded, and Just For Grins Foundation.

Swing For Your Swag

Where: 121 Financial Ballpark

When: October 17 9 AM – 1 PM

For just $10, fans will receive a jumbo hot dog, and either a 12 oz. beer or small soda plus five swings from a pitching machine to try to hit a home run. Successful participants who hit a home run will receive a free 2022 season ticket. Those who hit the wall on the fly will receive five ticket vouchers for the 2022 regular season. Limit one prize per person.

All fans hitting must wear a batting helmet, and also must also bring a hat to wear under the helmet. Participants must use a Jumbo Shrimp issued bat to qualify for a prize

Jags/Dolphins London Brunch!

Where: Main &  Six

Come join us for a special brunch event at our brewery for the London game between the Jacksonville Jaguars and Miami Dolphins! We will be showing the game on our new projector screen and have the sound up!

Our friends with Blade and Wave will be out front serving up a delicious brunch menu! Be on the look out for that menu soon, as well as special beer treatments just for this game. And yes, we will have mimosas too!!

Jacksonville’s Spookiest Homes Contest is back! We’re searching for homes in the 904 with outrageous Halloween decorations (excessive tombstones, cobwebs, pumpkins, etc..)

Taylor Tomlinson: Deal With It Tour
