There are plenty of things going on this weekend! Check out some Fourth of July events and also other places to keep you busy.

Jumbo Shrimp Host Independence Day

Where:121 Financial Ballpark

When: 6-10pm

The festivities start early at the ballpark! Please note there is no game on this day. They will be screening a baseball movie starting at 7:30. There will be other activities to keep your friends and family entertained!

Downtown Fireworks

Where: Riverfront Plaza

When: 5-10 pm

If you are looking for a fun way to spend your night downtown, check out Jacksonville’s riverfront celebration.The plaza will have special events,food trucks, and a concert. Fireworks will be launched from six locations including FSCJ North Campus, Trinity Baptist Church, Downtown, ED Austin Regional Park, St. Johns Town Center, and The Avenues.

Red, White, and Cool at Town Center

Where: St. John’s Town Center

When: July 2nd-4th

Come celebrate with the Markets at Town Center and join the Red, White, and Cool festivities. Friday(July 2nd) through Sunday (July 4th) you can enjoy a sidewalk sale and a free cooler tote with the purchase of $50! Saturday July 3rd from 12-3 pm enjoy face painting from Twist of Fun and FROZEN Sweets!

Fireworks Over the Matanzas

Where: St. Augustine

When: July 4th 6pm

Head over to St. Augustine to check out some events including fireworks and a concert too.  From 6-8 pm the All Orchestra will play Big Band Music in the gazebo of the Plaza de la Constitucion! Fireworks will start at 9:30 and please be aware of road closures.

Fireworks at the Omni Amelia Island

Where: Omni Amelia Island

When: July 2nd-4th

Are you looking for a getaway that isn’t too far? Omni Amelia Island has plenty of activities to do for guests. Games such as name that tune,watermelon eating contest, and beach activities! On July 4th they are having a DJ and fireworks starting at 7. Fireworks will be at 9:30.

4th of July at the JAX Beach Pier

Where: JAX Beach Pier

When: 9PM

The 4th of July fireworks are back!  The pier parking lot will be closed so plan accordingly and arrive early. Fireworks start at 9.

Celebration Run

Where:1st Place Sports, 3931 Baymeadows Road    

When: July 4th 5K at 7:30 AM | 1 Mile at 8:30 AM

The Celebration Run is a great way for the family to be active. All participants receive a shirt and medals. Theres a watermelon festival after the rest and post-race food.Prize money to top finishers and three deep age-group awards for each 5 year category.

Fourth of July at MOSH

Where: MOSH

When: Jul 4th @ 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Celebrate the 4th of July with premiere viewing of the City of Jacksonville fireworks! After exploring the Museum during extended hours, enjoy the fresh breeze on the MOSH Rooftop. Sit back and watch the night light up in red, white and blue!

Where: Downtown Fernandina Beach

When: 4:00-9:30pm

Come celebrate the 4th of July in Downtown Fernandina Beach. There will be food, music, and fireworks.

Seussical the Musical
