Everyone knows the 904 Happy Hour team eats out a lot so we needed a little assistance with what to cook for Friendsgiving! This year, with the help of Kroger Delivery + Boost we made a cheesy mac-n-cheese and Apple Cider cocktails, with all the ingredients delivered right to our doorstep with cheer.

Check out our recipes below and links to the ingredients we used. Plus, read to the end to learn more about how you can stretch your holiday dollars with Kroger Delivery + Boost!

Classic Mac N Cheese:

Ingredients:
1⁄2 pound grated Gruyère Cheese
2 cups Dry Macaroni
2 tablespoons plus 4 teaspoons of Butter, divided
1⁄4 teaspoon Dry Mustard
3⁄4 teaspoon Salt
1⁄2 pound grated Cheddar Cheese
4 teaspoons Onion, Minced
1 tablespoon All-Purpose Flour
1⁄4 teaspoon Pepper
2 cups Milk
3⁄4 cup Panko Breadcrumbs

Directions:
Step 1: Cook macaroni according to package directions. Preheat oven to 400°F. In saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons butter and sauté onion.
Step 2: Whisk in flour, dry mustard, salt and pepper. Slowly stir in milk over low heat. Add cheese and stir until melted.
Step 3: In a medium bowl, combine cheese mixture with macaroni. Blend well and pour into 2½ quart greased casserole.
Step 4: Toss panko crumbs in 4 teaspoons butter until lightly browned. Sprinkle on top of the macaroni.
Step 5: Bake 20 minutes. Remove, let cool and serve.

Friendsgiving Cider:

Ingredients:
4 Cinnamon Sticks
2 Apples, chopped
3 cups Apple Cider
1 cup Club Soda
1 bottle of Pinot Grigio (optional)
1/2 cup Bourbon (optional)
1/4 cup Maple Syrup (optional)

Directions:
Step 1: Fill a large pitcher with your choice of fresh apples and other fall fruits. Toss in a few cinnamon sticks.
Step 2: Add an entire bottle of Pinot Grigio (optional), a few cups of apple cider,  some club soda, and a little bit of bourbon for all the warm fuzzies.
Step 3: Stir, stir, stir! Taste. If you’d like, stir in a little maple syrup for added sweetness. Otherwise, pop  the mixture in the fridge and allow it to sit for at least an hour overnight.
Step 4: After all the flavors have had a chance to mix and mingle, pull the pitcher out of the fridge, give it another good swirl, and serve it up!
