April is here! You're in the right place if you are in search of some springtime plans.  The Clay County Fair is here along with Disney on Ice if you are looking for some family fun!  Springing the Blues and Florida Ma'am Festival are great ways to enjoy some live music. The Jacksonville Shrimp start up again and have fun celebrations for opening day! UNF Baseball and Softball are continuing their seasons.  Read ahead in the Save the Date section to plan for weeks in advance! 

CLAY COUNTY FAIR

Get ready, the Clay County Fair is coming back and will be plenty of fun!

Disney on Ice

Folksy Dinner Party at THE CUMMER!

Springing the Blues

Where: Seawalk Pavilion

The Springing The Blues presented by Sawgrass Asset Management is a free, outdoor blues music festival that celebrates America’s indigenous musical form. The three-day oceanfront event features national, regional and local blues artists on two stages. Springing the Blues is held at Jacksonville Beach’s SeaWalk Pavilion every April.

SCOTT BRADLEE’S POSTMODERN JUKEBOX

Where: Florida Theatre

Postmodern Jukebox, also widely known by the acronym PMJ, is a rotating musical collective founded by arranger and pianist Scott Bradlee in 2011. PMJ is known for reworking popular modern music into different vintage genres, especially early 20th century forms such as swing and jazz. Postmodern Jukebox has amassed over 1.4 billion YouTube views and 5 million subscribers.

FLORIDA MA’AM FESTIVAL!

When: 4/2-3

Where: Colonial Oak Music Park

We are living for this all-female music festival coming to Saint Augustine April 2-3! @floridamaamofficial will be held at the coolest outdoor music venue, Colonial Oak Music Park, off of popular Saint George Street. The event will feature live music, so much fun , access to dining & full bar , and local female vendors. Hours are 2-10 p.m on April 2; and 3-9 p.m on April 3. Tickets are $20 for one day or $30 for a weekend pass with re-entry

The Secret Garden Market

The Secret Garden Market will offer specialty-crafted goods from over two-dozen local vendors, including Ariel Kellogg, Beaten Path Co., Bee Hill Farm, Grumpshine Candles, Hyppo Gourmet Ice Pops, Lauren Ytterbom Ceramics, MC Pressure, Pinfeather Designs, John Quick Ceramics, Magnolia Supply, Manifest Distilling, Scout’s Honor Vintage, and more. In addition, Sunday's homemade sourdough loaves, preserves, and pickles will also be available for sale while Jenna Alexander's new illustrative series, offered in print notecards and limited originals, will make their debut.

 First Wednesday Art Walk

Downtown Vision has proudly hosted the First Wednesday Art Walk since 2003 to welcome people to DTJax and celebrate the community’s deep pool of creative talent.  

Art Walk has returned after a break due to the pandemic and now takes place monthly! We invite you to bring your family, friends and coworkers for a self-guided tour of Downtown’s northbank core on the first Wednesday of every month. Explore three major hubs: James Weldon Johnson Park, The Jessie (duPont Center) and Vagabond Flea at The Breezeway at Vystar Tower, and all the businesses and public art between. Art Walk runs 5-9 p.m., rain or shine. Masks encouraged.
