There are so many fun things to check out this week! Enjoy some gelato, see a play, or even attend a fundraiser. That is only a few of the events going on this week.

 Summer Nights, presented by 121 Financial Credit Union

Where: 121 Financial Ballpark

When: 8/21 7pm

 Summer Nights, presented by 121 Financial Credit Union, is an evening affair to benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida. This year’s event will be held at 121 Financial Ballpark where we can enjoy craft cocktails, food from area restaurants such as Orsay, Black Sheep, Bellwether, Bread & Board, Estrella Cocina, Bono’s & Pastiche, live music by The Chris Thomas Band, cool down stations and a live and silent auction. This event raises critical funds provide youth in our community with a place to go after-school, a place where they feel safe, loved and connected where they can grow beyond the classroom. Boys & Girls Clubs help youth create great futures in Northeast Florida, by ensuring they graduate on time with a plan for their future, lead healthy lifestyles and demonstrate good character and leaders

Lilly Grace: For Women of All Styles

Lilly Grace Fashion’s new boutique just opened in the heart of San Marco with all of the cutest styles and trends at an affordable price! Owner Amy Walwyn had dreamed of opening a boutique for 18 years, this summer, her vision become a reality, with the opening of her first shop!

The District SPR  

It’s officially happy hour at The District SPR. The District is located in Springfield - One of Jacksonville’s oldest neighborhoods! They have a beautiful outdoor patio, lounges and games plus a cozy indoor lounge & bar. They have free wine tastings every Monday, brunch on Saturdays & Sundays, a delicious food menu (available daily) that includes charcuterie boards & more!

Minnesota describes his music as Bass Music with a psychedelic vibe. To create music, he uses Ableton with a bunch of soft synths. Since 2011, Minnesota has been playing shows and festivals around the world and releasing music frequently on his SoundCloud

Clueless 26th Anniversary

Where: Florida Theatre

When: 8/22

Ugh as if! Shallow, rich and socially successful Cher (Alicia Silverstone) is at the top of her Beverly Hills high school’s pecking scale. Seeing herself as a matchmaker, Cher first coaxes two teachers into dating each other. Emboldened by her success, she decides to give hopelessly klutzy new student Tai (Brittany Murphy) a makeover. When Tai becomes more popular than she is, Cher realizes that her disapproving ex-stepbrother (Paul Rudd) was right about how misguided she was — and falls for him.



Summer at the Cummer

Where: Cummer Gardens

When: Fridays 5-9PM

The Museum will offer free admission during its extended hours, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. each Friday night, and the experience will include live music, art experiences, lawn games and more. 

Celebrate Friday night with a relaxing picnic in the beautiful Cummer Gardens. Guests will receive fresco dining with a picnic and access to seating throughout the 1.45 acre property. Receive a $25 tote for one or a $40 tote for 2. The price includes admission and there are vegetarian options. They have other dates to attend if you can't make it this week.
