It is almost the end of July which means there are plenty of events to keep your summer going! Check out some events happening this week and in the future! 

90’s Flashback Friday

Where: Main & Six Brewing Company

When: July 16th 6pm- close

Come join Main and Six Brewing Company for a night that will bring you back to the 90’s! Dress up and enjoy some music. Alma Fusion will be out serving some food.

Come enjoy your Sunday night with some dancing and beer. They are offering free parking and admission and the event is 21 and up.

Rock the Moon featuring Skyview

Where: MOSH

When: July 17 7:30-10

Celebrate the anniversary of the Moon landing on Saturday July 17th. Skyview(local indie/space rock band) will be performing.  It is also a happy hour so prepare for a unique experience amongst astro-experts.

Jacksonville Sharks vs Columbus Lions 

Where: Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena 

When: July 17th 7 PM

The Jax Sharks will be playing the Columbus Lions. The theme night is Shark-A-RitaVille so be sure to dress up. Tickets start at $10!

Summer at the Cummer

Where: Cummer Gardens

When: July 16th 5-9PM

The Museum will offer free admission during its extended hours, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. each Friday night, and the experience will include live music, art experiences, lawn games and more. 

Celebrate Friday night with a relaxing picnic in the beautiful Cummer Gardens. Guests will receive fresco dining with a picnic and access to seating throughout the 1.45 acre property. Receive a $25 tote for one or a $40 tote for 2. The price includes admission and there are vegetarian options. They have other dates to attend if you can't make it this week.

Seussical the Musical

This installation will be running through August 8th and it celebrates the 10 year anniversary of Project Atrium. MOCA also has plenty of other exhibits to check out.

Illumizoo Summer Spectacle

Where: Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens 

Come summer, when the days are long and hot, cool nights at the Zoo are now home to an incredible scattering of illuminations. An amazing spatial of color, IllumiZoo Summer Spectacle promises to transcend from sleepy wildlife to a fantasy landscape of nature drenched with rich lighting.

Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp vs Nashville Sounds

Jumbo Shrimp fans, be sure to go see a game next week. July 20th-25th the Shrimp will be home for the last time this month. They have some theme nights as well.

Jacksonville Sharks Vs Carolina Cobras

Where: Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena 

When:July 24th 7 PM

SHARK FANS! It is the final home game of the season. The Sharks will face the Cobras. Tickets are as  low as $10 and will ensure you a fun night. The theme is military appreciation night.

Jazz Fest

Where:Woodstock Park

The Inaugural Don't Miss A Beat, Jazz Festival at Woodstock Park – a family-friendly event featuring an incredible lineup of local talent performing alongside renowned headlining artists. The inaugural festival will take place July 24, 2021 from 1-9 p.m. at Woodstock Park in Jacksonville. Admission to the event is FREE to the community.
