It is hard to believe that March is already here! Spring is on the way and that means it is time to enjoy the warmer weather. Sports fans have baseball, basketball, and hockey. Check out special events only happening this weekend such as the Inaugural Phenomenal Women Pop-Up and Boozy Cauldron Tavern. There are way more where those came from. Music at the Markets is back, this week check out the Honey Hounds Duo. The Players Championship is coming up and you will not want to miss it! Read below to plan out this week and beyond!

The Play that Goes Wrong

Mardi Gras Fat Tuesday

Laissez les bons temps rouler! Join us on the creek for a Mardi Gras Party on Tuesday, March 1st! The family friendly celebration starts at 11am with food specials and beer releases. Jacksonville's premiere brass band, Junco Royals, join us in the Beer Garden at 6:30pm.

 

 First Wednesday Art Walk

Downtown Vision has proudly hosted the First Wednesday Art Walk since 2003 to welcome people to DTJax and celebrate the community’s deep pool of creative talent.  

Art Walk has returned after a break due to the pandemic and now takes place monthly! We invite you to bring your family, friends and coworkers for a self-guided tour of Downtown’s northbank core on the first Wednesday of every month. Explore three major hubs: James Weldon Johnson Park, The Jessie (duPont Center) and Vagabond Flea at The Breezeway at Vystar Tower, and all the businesses and public art between. Art Walk runs 5-9 p.m., rain or shine. Masks encouraged.

Check out the highly anticipated River and Fort- with TWO rooftops and views of all over downtown Saint Augustine- opens its doors to the public! 

 Things you should know:

-Currently there are no reservations. The rooftops are first-come-first-served, with exclusive menus.

- They are currently seating parties of 12 or less, with no private events or large groups just yet.

- It is only dine-in, no take-away orders.

- Starting out, it will be open only for dinner service, with hours from 4-10, and rooftop staying open later.

- Their menu is NOT the same as River and Post, but similar style.
