Professional Rough Stock Series to Make Florida Debut in Jacksonville

Belle Fourche, SD – December 16, 2013:   Rodeo season may be coming to a close but the horsepower will fire back up as the Professional Roughstock Series (PRS) top riders come to Jacksonville, Florida with nearly $2 million in stock bringing some of the toughest broncs and bulls to the Jacksonville Equestrian Center on Saturday, January 4th at 7:30 p.m.

“We look forward to making our debut in Jacksonville and growing the PRS fan base in Florida,“ said PRS President, Spud Whitman.

The lineup of equine and bovine athletes slated for Jacksonville is equally impressive, featuring numerous National Finals Rodeo qualifying stock contractors and some of the most feared animals in the sport. Kelly Timberman, In-Arena Announcer for the PRS on RFD-TV commented, "We're bringing animals from all over the country to ensure the best possible draw. It's going to be quite a show for the fans in Jacksonville."

The Jacksonville Open is the 1st stop on the Nationally televised 2014 PRS Tour. The series features the three most exciting and dangerous events in rodeo -- Bareback Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, and Bull Riding.

Tickets are on sale now and start at just $10.00 (applicable fees may apply).  Tickets start at just $7.00 (applicable fees may apply) kids ages 2 to 12!  Additional price levels are $10.00, $20.00, $25.00 and $30.00 (for Gold Buckle Seating).
