Family owned and operated for 21 years, Marianas Grinds is a Pacific Island restaurant with a focus on Hawaiian, Chamorro and Filipino cuisine.

If you’ve never been, I’d describe it as a hidden gem. A place where you are always greeted with a smile and made to feel at home. They have their regular local customers and then they have regular customers who travel from outside the city on the weekends to get their fix.

Ube Cake

If you have been, but it’s been a while- you probably don’t know that Florence has recently launched “Say So Sweets” selling her Filipino bakery items in the restaurant and by special order. While it’s not limited to, it’s the place for all things Ube (the super popular purple yam). If you have dietary restrictions, good news! She specializes in vegan friendly, dairy and gluten free options upon request.

Aloha Breakfast Plate- 2 eggs cooked to order, Spam, Portuguese sausage and Ube French toast topped with homemade coconut whip.

Some of Florence’s baked items have made their way onto the menu. The Aloha Breakfast plate comes with Ube French toast topped with homemade coconut whip. Or you can get the Ube Kalua Sliders served with a side of pancit. If you want, you can even take home a loaf of Ube bread and make your own French toast at home!
