Is there anything better than enjoying a cold smoothie or fresh juice after a day of soaking up the sun? At Juicy, refreshing fruit bowls, smoothies, and juices are readily available for locals and visitors alike looking to curb their sweet tooth (in a healthy way, of course) or hydrate after a long day. Juicy St. Augustine is excited to announce its new brick-and-mortar location on Anastasia Boulevard. The vibrant juice shop and eatery will celebrate their grand opening on Monday, May 31st from 9am-4pm. Guests are invited to visit the shop, explore Juicy’s new menu items, and enter an exclusive raffle giveaway for the chance to win a Juicy gift card and merch, including Juicy koozies and brand-new drinks just in time for summer.
“We feel incredibly fortunate,” explained Julianne Baksh-Renfroe, owner of Juicy. “Our business has never thrived more than it has this past year, and the time came for us to expand. We have gotten so much love from the community, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to take this step and open a brick-and- mortar location. I look forward to seeing where Juicy goes from here.”
Juicy’s menu items are crafted with seasonal and local ingredients that take you back to tropical travels and basking on the beach. Customers are left wanting more with bright flavors in every bite like pineapple, cucumber, mint, and mango. The new location brings with it fan-favorite menu items while also boasting an abundance of new things for guests to enjoy, including Detox House Shots such as Bring The Fire (ginger juice and honey) and The Classic (citrus, ginger, and turmeric topped with Cayenne and black pepper), smoothies like Blue Lagoon, The Hulk, Lean Greens, and more, as well as fruit bowls, homemade peanut butter, avocado toast, and a full coffee and espresso menu and a grab n’ go fridge.
Julianne credits her love of serving up fresh fruit to her home country of British Guiana. “Back home, exotic fruits like guava, mango, and passionfruit grow natively and are plump and ready to pick off the vine whenever you’re craving something sweet and refreshing. I love creating recipes, and I’m always looking for ways to incorporate a new flavor or new fruit.”
Owned and operated by longtime St. Augustine resident, Julianne Baksh-Renfroe, Juicy now has two locations in St. Augustine including their brick-and-mortar, located at 804 Anastasia Blvd. Unit D, and their Juicy food truck, which will be moved to a new location in St. Augustine Beach later this summer. Juicy serves an array of healthy and delicious menu items including detox shots, fresh juices, smoothies, açai bowls, light bites, and coffee. Juicy is open Monday-Saturday from 9am-4pm and Sunday from 10am-3pm. Learn more at juicystaug.com and follow along on social media @juicystaug
