JACKSONVILLE, Fla., June 30, 2021 — The City of Jacksonville’s Animal Care and Protective Services (ACPS) is celebrating Independence Day by hosting a five-day pet adoption event.

There will be free adoptions on all dogs and cats 1 year and older. City license fee may apply. Adoption hours are:

• Wednesday, June 30th from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
• Thursday, July 1st from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
• Friday, July 2nd from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
• Saturday, July 3rd from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Sunday, July 4th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“Give a deserving pet their independence this 4th of July!
