Have you ever stepped into shoes you felt you could never fill? It wasn’t until Brahms was in his mid-40s that he felt ready to present his very first to the world, but it was certainly worth the wait. Brilliant German conductor Markus Stenz makes his Jacksonville Symphony premiere in an evening filled with the power and expressive lyricism of Brahms’ First Symphony along with the most popular of Beethoven’s overtures to his lone surviving opera, now known as Fidelio.

Beatles by Classic Album Lives

When: 2/20 8PM

Where: Florida Theater

Let It Be is the 12th and final studio album by the English rock band the Beatles. It was released on 8 May 1970, almost a month after the group’s breakup, in tandem with the motion picture of the same name. Like most of the band’s previous releases, the album topped record charts in many countries, including both the US and the UK.

However, the critical response was generally unfavorable, and Let It Be came to be regarded as one of the most controversial rock albums in history with hits like “Across the Universe”, “Let It Be”, “Maggie Mae”, “Get Back”, “ The Long and Winding Road” and more. Join the band for a greatest hits set after the album!

Classic Albums Live takes classic albums and performs them live, on stage – without all the gimmickry and cheesy impersonations – using the world’s greatest musicians.
