The iconic lifeguard chairs are decorated with creative, larger-than-life light displays, turning the beach into a glowing walk-through experience. Alongside the lights, the Holiday Market features local makers, seasonal treats, gift vendors, and festive activities for all ages. It’s a uniquely Jax tradition — part art installation, part holiday celebration — perfect for an evening stroll, photos, and supporting local businesses.

CIRQUE DREAMS HOLIDAZE dazzles with a brilliantly breathtaking holiday spectacular for the whole family. As the original Cirque Holiday theatrical event, this annual tradition wraps a Broadway-style production around awe-inspiring contemporary circus arts. Guests will be on the edge of their seats as a cast of holiday characters come to life, captivating audiences while defying gravity. Broadway World exclaims, “Lose yourself for 90 minutes and go back to those wonderful dreams you had as a kid.”

Petesgiving at Pete’s Bar is the iconic Thanksgiving Eve tradition at Jacksonville Beach — a true hometown reunion. Each year, locals, friends, and visitors pack into Pete’s for a day of music, drinks, and nostalgia before the holiday. The atmosphere spills out onto the streets with that classic Jax Beach energy: lively, familiar, and full of people you haven’t seen since last year. It’s the unofficial kickoff to the holiday season — loud, fun, and uniquely Jacksonville.

11/28: Springfield Holiday Tree Lighting

Sesquicentennial Park

SPAR and Jacksonville Magazine are excited to bring you the annual Springfield Holiday Tree Lighting & Lantern Parade! Join us for a festive evening filled with holiday cheer, music, food, and community fun.

Schedule:

5:00 PM: The festivities begin! Enjoy live music while exploring local vendors and food trucks. Lantern pickup also starts, so grab yours to light up the night!
6:30 PM: As the band wraps up, the lantern parade will commence, lighting up the streets of Springfield.
7:00 PM: Parade-goers will return to the park for the grand lighting of the holiday tree. Have your photo taken with Santa, then get cozy for a special outdoor screening of Miracle on 34th Street under the stars.
8:30 PM: Event concludes.
This event is free to attend, but you can purchase your lantern packages ahead of time here, on 904TIX. Don’t miss this wonderful holiday tradition filled with lights, music, and holiday spirit!

The celebration culminates with a stunning fireworks display, featuring the unique waterfall fireworks cascading from the Main Street and Acosta Bridges.
