PRI Productions and Dreams Come True to Host Dream Day on June 27, Honoring 36 Local Children Battling Life-Threatening Medical Conditions

This free community celebration will feature red carpet Dreamer arrivals, beloved characters, live entertainment, food, vendors and live coverage by WJXT Channel 4

June 15, 2026 — JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — PRI Productions, in partnership with Dreams Come True, will host Dream Day on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at PRI Productions, located at 1819 Kings Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32207.

Dream Day is a PRI Productions signature event, created to honor local children who are bravely battling life-threatening medical conditions. Each honored child, known as a Dreamer, is celebrated as the true star of the day. Dreamers arrive individually as their favorite characters to a cheering crowd, walk the red carpet, and enjoy a festive community gathering filled with entertainment, beloved characters, live music, food, activities and joy.

This year’s event is the first since 2019, marking the return of a longstanding community tradition. It will honor 36 Dreamers from across Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia, ranging in age from 3 to 15 years old. Each Dreamer will be accompanied by family members and loved ones throughout the day.

“Our goal at PRI Productions is to bring ideas to life, and elevate ordinary events to extraordinary experiences. Dream Day is about creating a moment where these incredible children feel celebrated, seen and surrounded by love,” said Randy Goodwin, President and CEO of PRI Productions. “Every Dreamer is the star of their own story, and this event gives the community a chance to come together and cheer them on.”

The event is free and open to the public, with more than 2,000 attendees expected. Advance registration is not required. The celebration will include more than 150 businesses; more than 200 volunteers; approximately 100 character appearances (and counting); dozens of themed performances, live bands and national, regional and local talent; children’s activities; interactive entertainment; complimentary food and beverages; and a 150-foot red carpet for Dreamer arrivals. “Dream Day is more than a celebration. It is a powerful reminder that an entire community stands beside our Dreamers and their families every step of the way,” said Anna Valent, Executive Director of Dreams Come True. “Amid the challenges of a life-threatening medical condition, this day creates space for hope, joy and unforgettable memories. Thanks to the remarkable generosity of Randy and PRI Productions as well as our dedicated community partners, volunteers and local businesses, these brave children and their families will experience a day filled with love, laughter, and the magic of believing that anything is possible.”

WJXT Channel 4 News4Jax will serve as the media partner for Dream Day, with live coverage of “PositivelyJAX Presents Dream Day” on WJXT Channel 4 and streaming on News4Jax+ from 10 a.m. through 12 p.m.

Dream Day is presented through the generous support of more than 200 businesses and community organizations. For information about opportunities to participate, please contact Randy Goodwin at [email protected].
