A new and innovative educational institution is set to elevate the cultural landscape of Jacksonville. We are pleased to announce the opening of Global Outreach Charter Academy (GOCA) Arts, a visionary Arts Charter School dedicated to nurturing creativity, fostering artistic expression, and providing a comprehensive education to students in the heart of Jacksonville's Town Center Area.

Designed to cater to the unique needs of young artists, GOCA Arts will open its doors for the first time in August, 2024. As a public charter school, it aims to offer an exceptional learning environment where aspiring young talents can explore and refine their artistic skills while receiving a top-notch academic education.

GOCA Arts is driven by the belief that the arts play a pivotal role in a well-rounded education. By integrating arts into the curriculum, students are encouraged to discover their passions, develop critical thinking, and nurture self-confidence.

The school will offer a wide range of arts disciplines, including but not limited to:
Visual Arts: Painting, drawing, sculpture, and digital media.
Performing Arts: Dance, theatre, and music.
Literary Arts: Creative writing, storytelling, and poetry.

Parents and members of the community are invited to attend GOCA Arts Ribbon Cutting Ceremony + Public Open House with the Founders of the school, and meet Lianna Knight, the Principal of GOCA Arts. The special event will take place on Friday, January 26th at 4:30pm at the new school's address: 4660 Lusso Ln, Jacksonville, FL 32246.

As part of the special event, they will have a special performance by the Cathedral Arts project string orchestra and other musicians and performers. There will also be hors d'oeuvres and tours of the school and classrooms. RSVP HERE
