MAGIC HIDEAWAY CELEBRATES 1ST ANNIVERSARY WITH BRAND NEW SHOW
ST. AUGUSTINE, Florida (May 4, 2023) – With such a loyal local following and a one-year anniversary on the horizon, Magician Bill Abbott has created a brand new magic show chock-full of mind reading, teleportation, slight-of-hand, time travel, and even the addition of his haunted ventriloquist dummy, ‘Jerry Mahoney.’ Magic Hideaway is an upscale, intimate, two-hour magic experience debuting its new show Friday, May 19th at 6pm and Saturday, May 20th at 6pm at the Cobalt Lounge at Casa Monica Resort & Spa in downtown St. Augustine.
“We did some digging into the analytics of who was coming to our show and we learned that it was overwhelmingly people from Florida – specifically, guests who are within a one-hour drive of St. Augustine,” explains world-renowned magician, Bill Abbott. “We realized that in order to keep those same folks coming back, we needed to offer a fresh experience that would keep them guessing and coming back for more. Thus, a brand new magic show is born!”
Once guests arrive at Casa Monica, they choose from a menu of complimentary magic-themed welcome cocktails to enjoy in the opulent Cobalt Lounge with exclusive access to the VIP area where Bill Abbott entertains with pre-show sleight-of-hand magic before everyone is ushered into the Magic Hideaway showroom. Styled after a vintage jazz club, the showroom is a 22-seat venue featuring glowing crystal balls, Moroccan chandelier, majestic palms, and carefully-arranged seating so everyone is within touching distance of the magic. Once the house lights dim, Bill Abbott takes the stage to perform one of the most intimate magic shows in the world featuring interactive, mind-bending illusions.

ABOUT MAGIC HIDEAWAY – Opened in 2022 by Bill and Rebecca Abbott, Magic Hideaway is an intimate, upscale, adult-geared magic experience held in the Cobalt Lounge at Casa Monica Resort & Spa, located at 95 Cordova Street in downtown St. Augustine, Florida.
