The FSCJ Artist Series is kicking off this Fall and is filled with multiple great shows to attend. There are options for people of all ages and interests to enjoy. These shows are the perfect night out - filled with excitement, fun, and incredible entertainment!

KILLER QUEEN - A Tribute to Queen

Where: Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts (formerly the Times-Union Center)

When: October 18, 2022, 7:30pm 

Killer Queen is a tribute band unlike any other. It takes real talent to play the music even remotely similar to the style of Queen, however, Killer Queen dresses the part as they go through the different eras of late vocalist Freddie Mercury and they are so engaging live that Mercury’s presence can be felt in the packed houses. Led by charismatic Freddie Mercury-look-and-soundalike Patrick Meyers, what started as a one-night thing has now spanned over 25 years and been welcomed the world over due to smashing attention to detail, energetic performances and of course, the most brilliant back catalog to draw upon.

AN EVENING WITH DAVID SEDARIS

Where: Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts - Terry Theater (formerly the Times-Union Center)

When: October 26, 2022, 7:30pm

Author of the previous bestsellers Calypso, Naked, Me Talk Pretty One Day, Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim, and regular National Public Radio contributor, David Sedaris will be appearing for one night only, following the release of his newest books The Best of Me and A Carnival of Snackery. This is a unique opportunity to see the best-selling humorist in an intimate setting. As always, Sedaris will be offering a selection of all-new readings and recollections, as well as a Q&A session and book signing. The State Ballet Theatre of Ukraine's SLEEPING BEAUTY
