The Volstead

The Volstead is hands down one of Jacksonville’s best cocktail lounges and speakeasy’s. They opened in Downtown Jacksonville in 2013 and quickly became one of Jax’s most beloved bars because of their unique, hand-crafted cocktails and cozy 1920’s-like atmosphere. They offer signature cocktails as well as seasonal cocktails, and have a daily Happy Hour from 4pm-7pm. Pictured is one of their seasonal summer cocktails called “Sharks in Space.”

Secret Tiki Temple

Secret Tiki Temple is a MUST-DO. It’s a “Tiki Speakeasy” that combines elements of Chinese heritage with our love for all things tiki. They are located inside the Pagoda Chinese Restaurant off of Baymeadows, and not only offers fun and delicious cocktails, but also shareable Asian appetizers, entrees, and desserts! Our favorite item on the menu is their Spam Fried Rice… don’t knock it till you try it. Also, It’s reservation only, which means you know it’s legit.

Sidecar is an urban beer garden and cocktail bar located in the heart of San Marco. Sidecar offers a lovable blend of quirk and craft, and is a welcome place for all of Jacksonville.
