When: February 12th (race begins at 8AM)
Come out to the inaugural Chasing Tail 5K and Forever Vets Fun Run, supporting the Jacksonville Humane Society. Bring your dog out to run with you or have a friend watch over them at Kanine Social.
The courses will start and finish at Kanine Social and the 5K will consist of 2 loops. To allow for social distancing at the start they will be scoring all winners based off ‘chip time’. All runners will receive an official ‘chip time’ based off the time they individually cross the start line to their finish. There are prizes for the winners including a FREE annual park membership to Kanine Social ($395 value).
After the race is over, there will be live music, a bounce house, and a lure course for the dogs. There will be vendors and food trucks for you to enjoy.
Registration Includes:
Chasing Tail 5K- entry to event, exclusive race shirt and logo pint glass, 1 beer or soda, 1 day pass ($15 value) to Kanine Social’s private indoor/outdoor dog park and a finisher’s medal.
Forever Vets Fun Run 1 Mile- entry to event, race bandana, finishers ‘doggie’ bag.
