It's summer which means it's "o-fish-ally" seafood season! We've curated a list of 7 staple seafood spots in Jacksonville to check out before the summer comes to an end. Obviously we're blessed to be able to enjoy quality seafood year-round in Florida, however we can all agree that seafood in the summer simply hits different.

Clark's Fish Camp

This unique seafood restaurant, which opened in 1974, is known for its wild décor, exotic meats, waterfront views, and live Alligator feedings! Clark's Fish Camp brings an experience like no other. An impressive collection of taxidermy covers the entire restaurant along with rare, must-try menu items including shark bites, gator poppers, and frog legs, just to name a few. This rustic fish camp is located on the river bank of Julington Creek in Jacksonville.

Cap's on the Water

Cap's on the Water is one of St. Augustine's best seafood restaurants to visit. This local favorite is known for its fried shrimp, fine seafoods, and classic southern dishes.

Nathan comes from a long line of local fishermen, his grandfather even had one of the first seafood markets in Jacksonville! Located in Orange Park, this fisherman's restaurant is sure to bring you fresh, delicious seafood.
