Oktoberfest Coming to Anheuser- Busch Brewery on September 12,2015

Anheuser- Busch is bringing an authentic German Oktoberfest to the Jacksonville Brewery on Saturday, September 12th. The event will begin at noon and go until 6pm at the brewery located at 111 Busch Drive on the northside of Jacksonville off I-95.
 
 
The Oktoberfest will begin with a ceremonial tapping of the first keg by a brewmaster and local Jacksonville dignitaries. Once the keg is tapped, guest 21 and over will have the opportunity to participate in a ceremonial toast. In Germany, the mayor of Munich taps the ceremonial first keg of Spaten each year and announces "O'zapft is!" or "It is tapped!"
 
Following the toast, visitors are invited to enjoy a variety of German-style beers, such as Spaten, Franziskaner and other seasonal favorites. There will also be traditional German fare such as Bratwurst, Bravarian pretzels and Gingerbread cookies. There will also be traditional German games along with entertainment and music.
 

 
Adult Tickets are $30* for guests 21+. Besides admission to the event and a chance to enjoy all the entertainment and festivities, each ticket includes:
  • Commemorative Oktoberfest Stein
  • 2 Beers
  • 1 Food Item
Additional food, beer and soft drinks will also be available for purchase during the event.
 
 Ticket price includes parking. 
- Guests under 21 are free but they must have a ticket to gain entry (excludes children 3 and under).
