The 5 & Dime: View the intimate and evocative works of Marisa Yow. Her paintings and drawings reflect themes shown in the recently staged “How I Learned to Drive.”

Jacksonville Main Library: Meet your neighborhood organizations and other organizations that work to build community in our “Bold New City.” Explore the Jacksonville: A Tale of My City on the second and third floor. And don’t miss the Ax Handle Saturday Photography Exhibition as part of the 4th floor Special Collections.

MOCA Jacksonville: Grab a cocktail and stop by MOCA Jacksonville to see the new Gideon Mendel: Drowning World exhibition, a powerful photography project that explores the human impact of flooding in a global context. AFTER DARK HIGHLIGHTS

Myth Nightclub: Stop by Silent Disco during Art Walk After Dark, featuring over a dozen DJ's on four different channels, artists, vendors, performances, plus food and specials all night!

The Volstead: Enjoy happy hour from 4-7 p.m. and live music by The Snacks Blues Band from 9 p.m. to midnight.

 

Produced by Downtown Vision, Art Walk is on the first Wednesday of every month from 5-9 p.m., rain or shine. On average, 5,000 art enthusiasts attend each month to discover more than 35 participating venues including art & cultural venues, restaurants and bars, Downtown businesses and more. The First Wednesday Art Walk is a great way to meet fellow artists, buy and appreciate their work, and be part of the rapidly growing art scene in Jacksonville, Florida.
